Dammestenen or Hesselagerstenen is the largest drop stone (also known as glacial erratic) in Denmark and is a testament to the power of the glaciers during the ice age.
The stone consists of red-grey gneiss and stands 12m tall; it has a diameter of 46m and weighs approximately 1000 tonnes.
